So our darling daughter is officially 6 months now! Her milestones accomplished include sitting up, saying her first word ("mama" and "hello"), and she is beginning to crawl. We attempted some rice cereal and applesauce with her within the past week or so and she has decided she likes breastmilk much better anyhow! So for right now we will continue to exclusively breastfeed except for a few tidbits of this and that randomly. I will be making her baby food, however small the amount, at home for now as well. Turns out purreeing veggies and fruits is way easier and way more cost effective than going to the grocery store and buying whole amounts of food she may never eat! lol
Well the munchkin is hollering for me right now so I'd better run. Love and hugs!

Happy 6 Months!! I'm glad to hear you are going to be making Audra's food. We did the same with Cohen and loved it! I think you will too!
Happy six months, Audra! And congrats to you for making it six months EBFing. I made it to six, but due to about a million health issues, we sadly had to stop there.
I LOVED making Norah's food! I didn't get to exclusively make it like I wanted, but hey...that's a working mom for you! I made her so many things that she loved when I could though. The only thing I made that she HATED was squash...hated it. Her face was rather funny!

I made all of Jayden's baby food too...I really think that feeding them 'real' food helps create a great taste for food. Now Jayden eats EVERYTHING!! His favorites include ANY fruit and veggie - including the ones that I tend to turn my noes up to ;)
